ABOUT Matt
Matt Ray is a professional BMX rider from Woburn, Massachusetts, born on August 20, 1995. Known for his technical prowess and explosive style, he has made a significant impact in the BMX scene.
Ray began riding at age 10 and turned professional in his late teens. He is sponsored by Subrosa Brand, The Shadow Conspiracy, and Dan’s Comp.
Throughout his career, Matt has achieved notable competition results, including a silver medal at the 2019 X Games in Minneapolis . He has also secured podium finishes at events like Simple Session, placing 2nd in 2019 and 2023, and 3rd in 2024 .
Beyond competitions, Ray is celebrated for his video parts, such as his Dan’s Comp Pro Part, which showcases his ability to execute complex combinations like nose manual to barspin to manual to tailwhip .
